Meta Partners Broadcom to Build Custom AI Chips
Meta has partnered with Broadcom to develop multiple generations of custom AI chips, building on its existing MTIA silicon program. The deal moves Meta further toward owning its AI compute stack, reducing reliance on third-party GPU suppliers such as Nvidia. No financial terms or timeline were disclosed.
