Sun Pharma to Acquire Organon in $12.5 Billion Deal
Sun Pharma is set to acquire US drugmaker Organon for $12.5 billion, paying $4.5 billion in equity and assuming $8.5 billion in debt. The deal, Sun's largest ever, beats out a rival EQT-Gruenthal consortium bid. An official announcement is expected Sunday night or by Monday.
